Fischer's Pest Control wants our customers to be informed about what type of bugs they are experiencing. So we set up a small little directory so that you, our customer, can learn more about bugs.
Pigeons, as a species, like the rat (to which they’ve been compared), have adapted quite well to urban environments. The pigeon or rock dove is the number one bird pest in the United States. Pigeon control is important due to the damage and disease problems these birds often create.
There are three ways we can prevent pigeons from your property. They include using spikes on any perching areas (where they rest), netting off of any cooping areas (where they live) or using scare tactics (ex. owls, streamers or noise machines). Pigeon-waste removal is crucial, even if we have successfully removed the live birds from your building. Therefore, we also clean and disinfect all of the surrounding areas with natural enzymes.
